What We Do
We’re here to offer personal support when you need it most. The Comfort and Care Team provides:
- A Listening Ear – One-on-one, confidential conversations when you need someone to talk to.
- Helping Hands – Assistance during tough times, tailored to your needs.
- Walk With You – We meet you where you are and move forward at your pace.
- Presence During Emergencies – We offer support during crisis situations, hospital visits, or funerals.
- Connection to Resources – If your needs go beyond our scope, we help connect you with internal and external support, including the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and vetted community partners.

Join the Comfort and Care Team
Are you someone who has a heart for helping others? The Comfort and Care Team welcomes employees who want to serve as a source of support across the department. Team members receive basic guidance and peer-support training, and their presence helps extend care to all corners of HPW.
